For Parents

Hi, my name is Karl Krebs. I began teaching guitar in 1993, when my then guitar teacher asked me to take on some of his students.

I have loved teaching and sharing guitar ever since. Over the years I have taught students ranging in ages from 5 years old up to 80.

Parents are encouraged, and always welcome to sit in on lessons (quietly please ;-). This can demonstrate a sign of encouragement to the student, as well as giving parents an understanding of what / how a student should practice at home. Any questions, or feedback is always welcome, please contact me anytime.

As well as operating my own independent music school, I tutor in guitar, bass, and ukulele for Summer Hill Primary School, and Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design.

Online lessons - for more information see the Mini Guide to Online Music Lessons here

In accordance with current legislation a Working With Children Check is a requirement for people who work or volunteer in child-related work.

"The Office of the Children’s Guardian was established under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 to promote the interests and rights of children and young people living in out-of-home care.

In 2013 legislative changes expanded the role of the Office to be an independent government agency that works to protect children by promoting and regulating quality, child safe organisations and services"
